To create Absolut Oak, we developed a bespoke process of first steeping the vodka in oak chips, then cask-ageing it in Swedish, French, and American oak barrels. Resting in different types of oak gives Absolut Oak a unique, complex taste profile, unexpected from a vodka. Absolut Oak offers a taste experience with a light, smooth texture and none of the harshness that can be associated with brown spirits. The oak brings a character of vanilla, caramel and toasted oak to the already smooth vodka.
