The taste of the EL Ron Prohibido Reserva 22 is created by mixing these barrels according to the Solera process, in which the barrels are used according to a precisely defined pattern according to age. The premium rum imported from Mexico also shines through the more complex and expensive distillation in small copper stills, which promises a flavorful and heavy result. The combination of the rums in the Solera process is not mentioned in the name, since the number 22 refers to the number of barrels and not to the age, as is usually the case with the name Solera. This process results from the exceptional barrels of the EL Ron Prohibido Reserva 22a multi-faceted rum, the scents and flavors of which inspire once again wonderfully independently compared to the other bottlings of the brand.

Color: gold to amber.

Nose: sugar cane syrup, vanilla, caramel, peach, cocoa, almond, pecan, cinnamon, anise, cloves, wood, a hint of smoke.

Aftertaste: wood, smoky tobacco.
